First Birthday!
We had such a great time at Bryce's first birthday Party. There were babies (or I should say one year olds) everywhere. The weather was perfect, and Bryce was such a performer! Great memories of a first birthday!

Dear Bryce, I love you!
Bryce,
It seems like only yesterday when time stood still in the anticipation of your arrival. I remember walking into your nursery and trying to imagine what you would be like. I remember one night placing both hands on my belly and wishing you could stay in there forever-only because you were protected. I remember rocking by myself in your rocker that night and praying that you would always be happy, healthy and safe.
Shortly after midnight on April 23rd, I woke up your daddy and said, "I think this is it". At 2:36pm, you made your grand enterance. You were perfect-all 5lbs 7oz of you! From the moment we saw you we knew we would sacrifice all that we had, and all that we were, to bring you happiness. But, never did we realize just how easy that would be.
It seemed like instantly you knew who your mommy and daddy were. We gleamed with such pride as we showed you off to the world. Your every first move amazed us, and your every little coo continues to tickle our hearts!
Bryce, I love how happy you are! I love that you smile constantly and how you love to pat your dad and I's backs when you give us hugs. I love that you give kisses with your mouth wide open and how you seem upset when we pretend to cry. You make me giggle when you wiggle your arms when you get excited, and when you press the button on Gavin the Grasshopper a hundred times over. I love how you say "no, no, no" when mommy or daddy say good bye to you-how that expecially melts your daddy's heart!
It seems crazy that time stood so still while pregnant, but yet this first year has flown so quickly by. Tonight as I rocked you to sleep, I looked around your nursery and saw so much character. that empty room a year ago has turned into a room that resembles our little boy! Your eyes slowly closed as I sung you to sleep...and then I prayed, "God please continue to keep our little boy happy, healthy, and safe."
Happy 1st Birthday Bryce Jaxon! Sometimes saying I love you just doesn't seem like enough...

Bryce's Last First Holiday! Happy Easter Everyone!
Oh how we love our little man...didn't he look soo handsome for his first Easter?!? We all had a great day. We woke up early for church and then enjoyed a wonderful brunch at Bryce's great Aunt Barb's house. Then, we ended the day with a walk around the block...We had beautiful weather and definitely made memories of a perfect first Easter with our baby boy!
